This privacy policy describes how BoxFM.dk processes personal data about customers, members and visitors to the website. 1. What information do we collect?

When you create an account, buy a product, start a subscription or contact us, we may process information such as: • Name • E-mail address • Phone number, if you provide it • Address, if required in connection with a purchase or invoicing • Login and account details • Information about your subscription • Order and payment history • Information about purchased e-books or other digital content • Correspondence with customer service • Technical information such as IP address, browser, device and time of use of the service • Information about the use of BoxFM, e.g. which features or music channels are used We aim to collect only the information necessary to deliver and administer the service.

2. Why do we process your information?

We process personal data in order to, among other things: • Create and administer your BoxFM account • Give you access to the music service • Administer your free trial and your subscription • Deliver e-books and other digital content • Complete and document payments • Send order confirmations, receipts and service messages • Answer questions and provide customer service • Prevent misuse and fraud • Improve BoxFM and the user experience • Meet requirements under accounting, tax and other applicable legislation Processing typically takes place because it is necessary to fulfil the agreement with you or to comply with our legal obligations. In certain cases, processing may be based on our legitimate interest in, for example, security, troubleshooting and improving the service.

3. Payment via Stripe

Payments and subscription payments on BoxFM are handled via Stripe. When you enter your payment details, they are processed by Stripe. Stripe may process, among other things, name, e-mail, address, payment details, transaction information, subscription status and information used for fraud prevention. Stripe itself describes these types of information as transaction data. BoxFM does not normally receive your full card details. We receive the information from Stripe that is necessary to administer your purchase and subscription, e.g. payment status, amount, date and subscription details. Stripe may process information across countries and use sub-processors in connection with payment processing and security. 4. E-mails and service messages

When you are a member or customer of BoxFM, we may send necessary service messages regarding your membership, e.g.: • Welcome e-mail • Order confirmation • Receipts • Changes to the subscription • Payment information • Cancellation confirmation • Important changes to the service or the terms These messages are part of the administration of your agreement with BoxFM and are not necessarily marketing.

5. Newsletters and marketing

If you have separately consented to newsletters or marketing, we may send you information about, for example: • New music • New features • Sleep tips and inspiration • E-books • Campaigns and offers You can withdraw your consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the e-mail or by contacting us at [email protected]. Unsubscribing from marketing does not affect necessary service messages about an active subscription.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

BoxFM.dk may use cookies and similar technologies for, among other things: • Making the website and login work • Remembering necessary settings • Statistics and analysis • Improving the user experience • Marketing, if you have given consent Non-essential cookies are only set once you have given consent in our cookie banner, where you can choose to accept all cookies or only the necessary ones. You can withdraw your consent at any time. Technically necessary cookies are used without consent when they are required to deliver the service you have requested. 7. Sharing of personal data

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with suppliers when necessary to operate BoxFM, e.g.: • Payment providers such as Stripe • Hosting and server providers • E-mail and communication providers • IT and system providers • Analytics and security providers • Auditors, advisers or public authorities where required by law Suppliers only get access to the information necessary for their task and must process the information in accordance with applicable data protection rules.

8. Transfers to countries outside the EU/EEA

Some of our suppliers may process information outside the EU/EEA. If personal data is transferred to countries outside the EU/EEA, we ensure that a valid transfer basis exists under the data protection rules, e.g. the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses or an applicable adequacy decision.

9. How long do we keep your information?

We only keep personal data for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Information about your user profile and subscription may be kept for as long as you have an active account and for a relevant period thereafter, including for customer service, documentation and any claims. Accounting and payment information is kept for the period required by applicable accounting and tax legislation. Information processed solely on the basis of consent is normally deleted or anonymised when consent is withdrawn, unless we have another lawful basis for continued processing.

We use appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect personal data against, among other things: • Unauthorised access • Loss • Misuse • Alteration • Disclosure • Deletion No internet-based service can, however, guarantee complete security.

12. Account deletion

You can contact us at [email protected] if you want your BoxFM account deleted. Certain information may still be kept if we are legally obliged to do so, e.g. accounting and transaction information. Deleting the user profile does not affect the statutory retention of such information.

13. Children

BoxFM is not aimed at children who would independently enter into payment agreements without the necessary permission from a parent or guardian. If we become aware that personal data has been collected in violation of applicable rules, we will take appropriate steps to delete or restrict the processing.

14. Changes to the privacy policy

We may update this privacy policy if BoxFM changes, we start using new suppliers, or the legislation changes. The current version will always be available on BoxFM.dk. In case of significant changes, active members may also be informed directly.
